When most people think of Las Vegas, a conference for training the world's top executives is probably the last thought on their mind. While it may not be the first item to come to mind, that is exactly what will be happening in Las Vegas this Summer, as Elite Exec Ed hosts their first Summit for Corporate Executives later this Summer.
Could Las Vegas become the Harvard of the West? That is the question posed by Elite Exec Ed when they announced the formal plans for their first executive training seminar to be held in Las Vegas this August. Elite Exec Ed, founded by Steven Phelan, a Professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), is an executive education company based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The company strives to bring the newest ideas from a number of acclaimed universities under one roof, for a business education convention put together for the most elite executives driving corporate America today. The conference put together by Elite Exec Ed is comprised of the best executive programs offered by the professors of the nation's leading business schools, such as Harvard, Wharton and Kellogg.
In a press release issued by Elite Exec Ed, founder Steven Phelan stated, “We are not locked in to the perspective of just one school or one mode of thinking - our emphasis is on bringing the latest and greatest ideas from the world's best business schools.”
With other executive development conferences, it is not uncommon for a participant to find themselves being one of a thousand other individuals cramped into a crowded auditorium. What sets Elite Exec Ed's event apart from others is that enrollment is limited to just 25 elite executives. This provides a level of one-on-one instruction for participants that no other seminar can match.
“Many events that feature well known speakers charge thousands of dollars for attendees to passively sit in a theater with thousands of others,” comments Phelan. “We have explicitly designed our event to encourage two-way interaction with the speakers, and attendees are openly invited to raise issues of importance to them and their companies”.
With only 25 seats available, event organizers expect the conference to fill up quickly. Registration to the executive training program will include three nights accommodation at the Signature at MGM Grand, as well as gourmet breakfasts and lunches. All materials required for participation in the event are also supplied.
Additional information on attending the event, scheduled for August 22-24, can be obtained online at www.eliteexeced.com
